Join our team as a Lead Software Engineer (PHP), where you'll play a vital role in the success of HomeToGo. We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer / Team Lead to manage our Price and Availability team. Our diverse and modern tech stack includes Symfony, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, Snowflake, Redis, Aerospike, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and more. In this role, you will

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
    • Drive the development and execution of technical strategies and initiatives to improve quality of our price component.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of relevant features
    • Identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of pricing components
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, and driving operational efficiency
    • Implement common engineering best practices
    • Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to meet business objectives

What you will bring

    • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of performance oriented programming
    • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., PHP, C#) and experience with relevant frameworks
    • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases, and data warehousing concepts
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
    • Proficiency in working with agile projects, defining and executing OKRs
    • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
    • Fluency in English and Lithuanian

Salary range: € 4500 - 7500 (gross / month)
